As we continue to balance staff safety with patient care, we are currently not permitting clients into the hospital. For all appointments, the side door is still being used for check-in and pick-up. On a case-by-case basis, we may still allow clients into the hospital for services such as euthanasia.
If you need to check-in or pick-up (food, medication, or pets), please come to the second level of the Jefferson Square garage where our hospital’s parking is located. Call our front desk upon arrival to coordinate payment and a staff member will then meet you at your vehicle.
We are prioritizing our appointment slots for pets who are sick, injured or who otherwise need medical care. We are still performing dentistry and surgery. Unfortunately, due to a reduced staff size and decreased efficiency due to curbside service, current demand is outpacing our capacity. We have temporarily stopped non-essential services such as grooming, boarding and international travel certificates. Wellness exams are available on a limited basis.
We appreciate your understanding and patience through this challenging time. We don't like curbside any more than you do! Our staff is going as fast as they can and doing as much as they can.
Curbside Service Guidelines
Please call us when you arrive in the parking garage.
Please wear a mask. If you feel ill or are experiencing fever or respiratory symptoms, we respectfully ask that you stay home. If you have a friend or family member who can come to WSAH on your behalf, we will communicate directly with you via phone.
All cats must be in a secure carrier.
If you are admitting your pet for an exam or other procedure, written notes with history and concerns are very helpful.
WSAH staff will maintain a six foot buffer zone between themselves and your vehicle. You will need to unload your pet from your vehicle for the hand-off.
After your pet has been admitted, please park upstairs in the retail parking lot where there is better cell phone reception. Please do not block the fire lane or park in Berkshire Hathaway's reserved parking spaces.

If you are disabled or have special needs, please let us know and we will find a way to accommodate you. We will allow visitors inside the hospital on a case-by-case basis for services such as euthanasia.
